SABC: Mampone out, Nkwe in
The SABC board suspended group executive: commercial enterprises Gab Mampone on Friday, 26 February 2010, on suspicion of acts of serious misconduct in both his current and previous positions and has subsequently appointed Ray Nkwe to handle Mampone's duties in an acting capacity.
Following the SABC board's decision to suspend Gab Mampone, group CEO Solly Mokoetle consulted with the board and appointed Ray Nkwe as acting group executive: commercial enterprises until this matter is finalised.
Nkwe, who is the general manager for SABC1 and acted in this capacity when Mampone was acting group executive officer.
