Sanlam Fashion Journalism Awards shortlist

Winners will be announced during Sanlam SA Fashion Week Winter 10/11 Collections at Sandton Convention Centre from 16-19 September. Each category winner receives a prize valued at R25 000, which is used for a trip to an international fashion event or trade fair during 2010.

This year's finalists are:

Fashion Writing:

Fashion Editing:

• Sharon Becker - Intombi's Way - Elle
  
• Sharon Becker - The New Crop (fashion styling for beauty feature) - Elle

The 2009 judging panel is Ferial Haffajee, editor of City Press; Laurice Taitz, publishing and media consultant; Jenny Crwys-Williams literary critic and 702 talk show host; Kassie Naidoo creative director at ad agency, King James RSVP JHB and fashion commentator and trends analyst, Dion Chang (convener).
