Zuma takes issue with the media
NEWSWATCH: Newly elected ANC president Jacob Zuma lambasted the South African media in the weekly newsletter, ANC Today, on Friday, 18 January 2007, for being “politically and ideologically” out of synch with the society it serves, writes IOL. In response, also according to IOL, SANEF has said that “the report reveals a hostile state of mind towards the media”.
Meanwhile, the Mail & Guardian Online reports that the upcoming launch of new broadcasting services and channel has resulted in a media house poaching war for experienced broadcasters.
