Sponsored by the Pace Property Group, this award is presented annually to promote excellence in commercial property journalism. Last year’s Overall Winner was Elma Kloppers from Beeld, and Xolile Bhengu from the Financial Mail was the Best Developing Journalist.
All print journalists who work for a South African organisation may enter, submitting no less than three articles and not more than six. Material must have been published between 1 June 2006 and 31 March 2007 and authenticity must be verified. Entries submitted must cover commercial property. A one-page CV must accompany the entry.
Each entry will be judged on the following criteria:
The Overall Winner will receive a R20 000 holiday voucher to cover the cost of a return trip overseas, including one week accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis. The Best Developing Journalist will receive a R6 000.00 holiday voucher for a regional or local holiday/cruise.
