Broadcaster loses bid to gag M&G on full report

An urgent court interdict brought by the SABC on Saturday, 14 October 2006 - to halt the Mail & Guardian Online's late Friday evening publication of the full controversial report by the SABC commission of enquiry into the banning of political commentators - was dismissed in the early hours of Sunday morning by Johannesburg High Court Judge Zukiswa Tshiqi, reports the Mail & Guardian Online.
