Carrim in titanic turnaround

Tragically, the original Titanic sank with heavy loss of life, but the crew was professional. Our very own Titanic, however, is unfortunately captained by an individual who doesn't even have a Master's Certificate, but at least the ship's owner seems to have a firm grip on things and may manage to turn the ship around, preferably before it goes too far on its 'sunshine cruise'.   Certainly, that leaky ship of state, the SABC, seems to have been out of the news for a while - it has been a frequent subject of debate, for all the wrong reasons, so here's hoping that that organisation, along with the Department of Communications, will continue to become more effective under Carrim's control.

  But don't give up hope yet that the SABC, our "sunshine news" broadcaster, will pull something out of the hat and once more be back in the news... for all the wrong reasons; it's the one thing at which the organisation has been pretty adept in the past.
