Final frolics and flips

Sunday, 11 July 2010, sees the big party day all over South Africa, which for one MTN Fan Zone guest means a helicopter flip to the stadium and double tickets as her prize in the company's Last Minute Tickets promotion. For others, its to be part of Melrose Arch's party.

Lois Watson from Sandton won double tickets to the final game and closing ceremony plus a VIP helicopter ride to Soccer City and a luxury VIP transfer from the helipad to the stadium during the draw held on 7 July, when the 10 regional finalists from each of the FIFA Fan Fests were selected. At half time during the semi-final between Germany vs. Spain, the finalists were called to the stage at their respective FIFA Fan Fests and a random draw was done to select one final winner to attend the final match of the at Soccer City.

"I entered the competition five times and my daughter and boyfriend each entered 40 times. I was never a football fan until the World Cup started; now I do not miss a game. Spain is my favourite team and to get to see them live is one of the highlights of my life," said Watson. She will taking her boyfriend, Michael Simon with her, who will be celebrating his birthday on 15th July.

Party at Melrose Arch but be responsible

The Sunday final will see Melrose Arch visitors watch the Final match at the Emporium or one of the big screens available on the Piazza or the Square.
