Vote now for SA's winning Doodle 4 Google
Yesterday, Monday, 31 May 2010, the Doodle 4 Google competition website opened for public voting with the top 10 doodles inspired by football on show. The Google Doodle is the artistic customisation of the Google logo on the search engine's homepage for such special occasions as 2010 FIFA World Cup.
"We want the public to choose the final doodle for the Google homepage, not least because the world will be focused on South Africa as the tournament begins," said Julie Taylor, communications manager, Google South Africa.
"There are some really creative entries, so we're encouraging everyone to vote on which South African doodle and aspiring young artist goes through to the international final."
The public has until 7 June to vote online at www.google.co.za/lovefootballvote or SMS 41633 with its winning choice.
