2010 - from dinner to dancing
The 2010 FIFA World Cup brings all sorts of events in its wake - from upscale dinners to dancing in the streets. The Black Management Forum (BMF) has a dinner lined up with Sepp Blatter as the main speaker and MTN has fan parks lined up for the more frivolous fans.
Sepp Blatter, president of FIFA
The BMF will host a corporate dinner on 4 June 2010 at the Emperors Palace, Johannesburg, to discuss the socio-economic impact of the World Cup on South Africa, addressed by Sepp Blatter, president of FIFA. The theme of the evening will be explored through a programme featuring a number of people in business, sports and politics updating the strides made in transforming South Africa; managerial leadership and skills development initiatives of the BMF for more black participation in the economy; and achievements and challenges in mentorship and youth development.
