Just Design cracks a Dieline Award

At the end of every year, gifts and well wishes abound. Against this busy backdrop, Just Design always tries to find a way to say thank you and end the year with a smile. In 2015, they succeeded with a bang by creating an end-of-year gift that not only caught clients’ attention but turned the heads of Dieline judges too.

The studio at Just Design is all about creative ways of packaging. And their 2015 festive giveaway took this to a new level – with a creative cracker, completely redesigned. Successfully packaging the agencies strengths like: innovative thinking, clever use of materials, inspiring tools for everyday, and even quirky personality.

120 crackers arrived on the desks of current and prospective clients in mid-December, too enticing to ignore. Once opened they revealed playfully ironic and iconic takes on: a toy, a crown and a joke. Each with engaging messaging. The assemblable pencil holder is a Springbok – the nearest thing locally to a reindeer. The surreal sunglasses actually work, inspiring new perspectives, and perfectly poised for sunny Southern Hemisphere December holidays. And, the fortune cookie was delicious… forecasting lots more great work to come from Just Design.
