ASA appoints deputy director
Dr Kwandiwe Kondlo has been appointed as Deputy Director of the ASA and will join the organisation at the beginning of October 2005. Kondlo joins the ASA from the National Prosecuting Authority where he headed up Policy Development and Research.
Kondlo's experience includes research into Human Rights, liaison with various stakeholders in government and the private sector, as well as transformation management. He is also experienced in budget planning and financial management.
Deline Beukes, Executive Director of the ASA, says: "To assist Kwandi in acquiring expert knowledge of the application of the Code as well as standards of international best practice, he will undergo a development and mentoring programme and will be supported by the ASA's team of experts."
