McCann-Erickson ranked no.1 worldwide
McCann-Erickson Worldwide has been ranked as the number one global advertising agency in Advertising Age's 2004 Global Marketing Report. The annual report each year ranks the Top 20 Agency Networks based upon the number of multinational accounts handled and by the total number of brand assignments.
At the time of publication of the report, McCann-Erickson Worldwide was the clear leader in multinational accounts handled with 66 accounts on its books compared to Ogilvy & Mather WPP Group, which took second place with 53 multinational accounts.
Earlier this year McCann-Erickson was also awarded the prestigious "Agency Network of the Year" title by the European Association of Communications Agencies (EACA) its recent Euro Effies awards.
