First RAB radio conference for SA
The Radio Advertising Bureau South Africa (RAB) has announced its inaugural RAB Radio Conference 2010 ‘radioworks' to be held around the country in May 2010, aimed at advertisers, media planners, creatives, content providers, PR and trade media.
The conference begins in Cape Town on 13 May 2010 at the CTICC, then moves to Sandton Convention centre on 18 May and finally to ICC Durban on 26 May.
Its primary goal is to deliver an excellent radio conference that provides knowledge through a diverse group of speakers and provides a forum for interaction and the exchange of ideas between advertisers, media planners, creatives, content providers, PR and trade media.
In addition, it will be the official launch pad for RAB's new effectiveness research project entitled Radio Gauge. The organisers hope that this conference will not only inspire great creative thinking within the world of radio, but also facilitate stronger working relationships between the RAB and the industry as a whole.
