YoungGuns 2009 launches Digital Award, social network
Along with the just-announced call to enter YoungGuns 2009, there's a revamped awards website, the new Digital Award which looks to recognise emerging and young digital talent - whether they are creating the idea, designing the interface, building the backend or delivering the outcomes - new Media categories and a social networking platform.
The Flash-built new site www.ygaward.com includes a homepage where readers can provide creative, news and information that is relevant, entry fee bundles and the ability to upload work digitally (www.ygaward.com/#/advertising-online-entry).
The creation of the YoungGuns Digital Award recognises the growing influence and importance of digital as part of our daily lives. The general digital divisions are Websites, Website Crafts, Advertising, Mobile Web and Digital Innovation, with a number of categories under these.
Media categories
Also new are various Media categories, aimed at emerging and young talent in media and strategy agencies, and media owners. The 2009 Creative Brief will be announced shortly.
