CDF's best ads for October 2003

The best ads that appeared in October, as voted by the Creative Directors Forum.

Comments by Louis Gavin (Chairperson) for October 2003 judging:

    NEWSPAPER
Very, Very average. Smokenders was the only piece of work that seemed to find a fresh solution to a familiar message. Panel decided only to send 1st place through to Ad of Year.

    MAGAZINE
Extremely poor? Seen it all before. What else can on say?

    OUTDOOR
One Classic poster (Dirol). Two very captivating ideas (Mug & Schizophrenia) – All 3 places through to Ad of Year

    TELEVISION
Quite a few good simple ideas and some very good production standards – but only one spot really challenged the panel enough to go through to Ad of Year.

    RADIO
Despite a sea of mediocrity and really bad humour, three ads really stood out. Toyota Tazz "Telepathy"/True Love "Gun Shot"/Ramsay Son & Parker "German Love Song". All 3 places through to Ad of Year.
