YouTube launches ad system

NEWSWATCH: Almost 10 months after being bought by Google, Internet video-sharing network YouTube has finally launched its first ad format, reports News24.com: a semitransparent ad which appears on a strip at the bottom of the video after a video plays for 15 seconds, and then disappears up to 10 seconds later if the viewer doesn't click on it.
