Ogilvy Jhb announces new board members

Ogilvy Johannesburg today, Wednesday, 28 March 2007, announced the appointment of 10 new members to its board, in line with its vision of liberating brands and talent within the agency.

According to Julian Ribeiro, Ogilvy Johannesburg MD, the talented and committed people selected to the board will join existing board members in taking Ogilvy South Africa into the future.

They are Jonathan Beggs (creative director), Kristina Couzyn (strategic planning), Sharleen James (business director and head of new business), Lisa Jaffee (head of broadcast), Neo Makhele (strategic planning), Priniven Pillay (MD SA Tourism), Roma Schalit (operations director) and Zwelakhe Tshabangu (creative group head) of Ogilvy Johannesburg, Felix Kessel (executive creative director) of Brand Activation 141 and Rich Mkhondo (MD) of Ogilvy Public Relations.

“The fact that there are so many people who are able to contribute to the agency at board level highlights the depth of talent and experience that we are able to offer our clients. We believe they all have what it takes to deliver on Ogilvy’s philosophy of great ideas through 360 degree integration,” concludes Ribeiro.
