Eagles, One Show to exhibit the best in print work

The Independent Newspapers Company (The Inc) is partnering with The One Show at The Eagles breakfasts next week in Johannesburg and Cape Town to showcase the advertising industry's most prestigious international print award winners. The One Show print exhibition and screening of the One Show awards will occur after presentations by this year's Eagles judges.

"We are pleased yet again to have the world acclaimed The One Show as part of our Eagles itinerary as this enables us to showcase the best print work internationally and in South Africa," says Andrew Cuthbertson, The Inc GM.

The One Show awards are produced by one of the world's foremost non-profit organisations for the recognition and promotion of excellence in advertising, The One Club, based in the US.

According to Kevin Swanepoel, interactive director of the One Show, the print exhibition and award-winning One Show reel are coming to South Africa as part of an international 10-country tour, aimed at promoting the fact that good creative advertising is good for business.

The Cape Town breakfast presentation takes place at The Vineyard Hotel on Monday, 16 October 2006, and the Johannesburg breakfast will be held at the Johannesburg Country Club on Tuesday, 17 October.
