The Lime Envelope secures Islamic Relief

Islamic Relief Worldwide (SA) has appointed The Lime Envelope as its public relations agency in South Africa.

Islamic Relief is a non-profitable organisation that is dedicated to alleviating poverty and suffering among the poorest in the world.

The organisation was founded in 1984 and its mission has been to help not only in Islamic or Muslim communities but people all over the world. This is not a faith-based association as it provides help to any in need, assisting in disaster stricken areas irrespective of religion, race, ethnic group or belief system.

Islamic Relief has current projects operational in countries such as South Africa, Ethiopia, Somalia, Iraq, China, and India. These projects are for emergency relief, health and nutrition, education and training and water and sanitation.

The South African project focuses primarily on AIDS orphans and child-headed households.
