Fine Healthcare partners Servier Laboratories in launching new osteoporosis drug

Servier Laboratories South Africa has appointed specialist healthcare agency, Fine Healthcare Strategic Marketing Services, to partner the organisation in launching its new osteoporosis drug to the South African market.

Given that Servier's new osteoporosis treatment was the first new chemical entity in a new therapeutic class to emerge from the company's product pipeline in a number of years, selecting the most appropriate partner agency to manage communication related to the drug was of the utmost importance. Following a three-way pitch against competitive specialist healthcare agencies, Fine Healthcare was the successful contender for the business.

In addition to winning the prestigious Servier business, Fine Healthcare was a finalist in the 2006 AdReview Marketing Services Company of the Year category. The agency was also the only healthcare consultancy which was officially recognised at the AdReview awards.
