Mid-Level Financial Markets Solutions Architect

We’re partnering with a leading Corporate & Investment Banking environment in search of a mid-level Solutions Architect who understands Financial Markets and can contribute to the design of fast, resilient and secure trading systems.

This role will see you working alongside senior architects and business stakeholders to support architecture across pricing, execution, risk, and settlement functions — ideal for someone ready to level up into more ownership and technical influence.

Role Responsibilities

• Contribute to enterprise-grade architecture for financial markets platforms
• Design secure, low-latency, high-availability solutions
• Translate business requirements into actionable technical design
• Support architectural governance and design standards
• Ensure solution quality from concept to delivery

Requirements

• BSc / BCom in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 3–5 years’ experience in Solutions Architecture within Financial Markets / CIB
• Knowledge of application, integration, and data architecture
• Exposure to trading systems such as Bloomberg, Murex
• Understanding of FIX, APIs and high-throughput design patterns
• TOGAF and Cloud certifications — advantageous
• Confident communicator with senior business and engineering teams
