Job description

Seller Operations Manager (Strategic Amazon Account Owner)
Location: Remote | Full-time | USA/Mountain time

The role: Seller Operations Manager (strategic leader)

This is a client-facing leadership role where you’ll own 8–12 Amazon accounts and lead a dedicated pod of analysts and creatives to drive operational results. You’re not here to do task work — you’re here to connect dots, propose strategies, and ensure execution.

You’ll be the primary operational lead for your clients, responsible for:

• Diagnosing account health issues and spearheading recovery plans
• Surfacing growth opportunities in listings, content, or processes
• Coordinating with our ad strategists and design team to align on conversion strategy
• Delegating tasks to your analyst(s) and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks
• Proactively briefing clients on what’s working, what’s not, and what comes next

This role requires comfort with ownership, pattern recognition, and high-stakes communication.

What you’ll be accountable for

Strategic oversight
• Develop strategic quarterly plans for each client account and own the execution roadmap
• Review metrics weekly, identify inflection points, and drive improvement initiatives
• Proactively initiate meetings when issues arise — don’t wait to be asked

Cross-functional communication

• Act as the bridge between seller ops and advertising — escalate any listing or inventory issues that impact PPC
• Collaborate with creatives (copywriters, designers) to optimize listing performance based on data
• Coordinate internally to align campaigns, promotions, and conversion testing across departments

Client ownership

• Lead client calls with confidence, providing insight — not just updates
• Translate operational challenges into strategic actions the client understands
• Communicate delays, blockers, and wins in a timely, transparent manner

Team leadership

• Manage a pod of 2–3 analysts plus creative resources
• Set clear goals, delegate tasks, and ensure accountability
• Mentor your team to think proactively and level up the overall standard across the seller ops department

Why vinculum

• Competitive salary: $1,600–$2,000 USD/month (depending on experience)
• 15 days paid vacation
• Remote-first with flexible work environment
• High-performance culture with a supportive, no-BS team
• Opportunity to grow into strategic leadership or team development roles

Requirements

What we’re looking for

• 2–3+ years managing Amazon seller operations — listings, account health, catalog, FBA, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal English — you are the face of the agency
• Demonstrated experience owning client strategy (not just executing assigned tasks)
• Strong understanding of how operations impact advertising (even if you don’t manage ads directly)
• Familiarity with flat files, brand registry, suppression types, stranded inventory, amazon experiments, etc.
• Project management mindset — you delegate, triage, and lead
• Ability to work independently and take initiative without daily hand-holding
• Comfortable working US business hours (mountain time)

Nice to have

• Prior agency or multi-account management experience
• Familiarity with tools like ClickUp, Google Sheets, Data Dive, Helium10
• Experience briefing or collaborating with ad strategists and designers
