Elections driving you potty?

So the media has been having pun with any and every kind of reference to toilets... And potholes - don't forget the potholes. What will happen after this Wednesday, 18 May 2011, when the municipal elections have come and gone? How well will all the election campaigning have worked? Is it advertising or service delivery desires that will have driven more people to vote this time? Will the SABC deliver on its promise of equitable coverage of the political parties?

In the meantime, it is 42 days since South African photographer Anton Hammerl went missing and still nothing has been heard by family, friends and colleagues, despite vociferous outcries to the South African Government via traditional media and social media (#freeantonhammerl). A yellow ribbon campaign has been launched, in which supporters are asked to tie a yellow ribbon around anything to call attention to Hammerl's plight.

By the way, it's just over three days and counting until Bizcommunity revamps! Preview the new site, find out what's new and let us know what you think by emailing feedback@bizcommunity.com!
