Join the Lawn Bowls fun to support the ABF

The ABF will host another Lawn Bowls event for members of the marketing, advertising and media industries at the Morningside Country Club from 1pm on 27 May.
"The event follows the very successful lawn bowls event that we held late last year," says Dave Pringle from Morningside Country Club. "It is a great game of skill, competitive spirit and fun. And despite popular opinion, it's a great game for people of all ages."

"A warm winter afternoon on the bowling green provides great fun and camaraderie and is a fantastic way to start a weekend. Our industries are very stressful, so spoil yourself and your team by spending a great afternoon out of the office," says Sharlene Vallance, Vice President of the ABF.

A team of three costs R1500 and includes a beef, chicken or veggie burger with a side salad for each player and spot prizes. Spectators can also get a meal at R25 and a cash bar will be available.

The 41-year-old charitable fund provides vital crisis support to individuals in the advertising, marketing and media industries who have fallen on hard times. In providing a support structure, the ABF helps those who cannot support themselves due to retrenchments, redundancies, injuries or illness.
