I worked as a sales associate in @home from March 2014 to February 2015.I applied for an internship and started on the 1st March 2015 and my internship ends on the 29th March 2016.

My Responsibilities are:
HR ADMIN
• Managing HR Admin for the Northern Region which includes Pretoria and Limpopo stores (@home, American-swiss, Sterns, and Mat & May).
• Opening of files for new employees.
• Updating staff files and terminations.
• Ensure HR Documents and new starter packs are up to date.
• Providing external parties with confirmation of employment for staff.
• General department administration, including filling, typing of correspondence massage taking, opening and distribution of mail, sending out Telegram when needed.
• ITC Check.
• Terminations.
• Exit interviews.

HR POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

• Ensuring high level of confidentiality at all times.
• Complying with the POPI Law (Protection of Personal Information).
• Understanding and communication of HR policies and procedures.

TRAINING

• Inviting delegates and following up on attendance.
• Arranging rooms and catering for training interventions
• Recording of training attended for all employees.
• Following up on knowledge transfer after training interventions.
• Consolidation of training register.
• EMT's (early morning trainings).

RECRUITMENT

• Placing of advertisements for positions available.
• Screening of CVs and short listing of candidates
• Telephonic interviews.
• Face to face Interviews.
• Reference
• Job offers (offer jobs to successful candidates)
• Placements/appointments (completing relevant documents, drafting letters of appointments)
• Send out regret letters.

EMPLOYMENT RELATIONS

• Attend hearings and CCMA cases for observation.
• Updating the employment relations tracker.
