Show profile Hide profileThrough my current position as a Risk Officer, I have a strong understanding of current operations in Risk Management. I am well versed in Projects Management, Implementation and monitoring of Risk Management in different sectors, i.e. Industry, Construction and Mining (Underground and open cast mining). I had an opportunity to travel to outside countries in comparing and learning their risk management models and enhance on what is current in our Organisation.I have thus managed to combine my experience in risk management and Behaviour Based Safety and managed to come up with models and steps in different sectors in making sure that we minimize incidents and achieve Zero Harm.
In addition to my professional experience, previous coursework and ongoing professional development in Risk Management, Behaviour Based Safety and Project Management has provided with the core skills demanded by most organization which I hope will be parallel to any organisation.I have a soft spot in HIV/AIDS in young women and children and have conducted short courses in that and have been able to do house to house interviews with the infected nd affected families in motivating them about life after HIV.
