Tiekie is an advocate for the Creating Shared Value (CSV) Prof.Porter and Kramer business concept and created and wrote the motivation that lead to the Loerie Awards changing the Ubuntu Awards to Shared Value. Tiekie did her honours at Vega School of Brand Leadership and her final dissertation was on Shared Value and the Advertising Industry's understanding of Creating Shared Value.
