Noxolo Simelane
Doing a good job and achieving the desired end result is my primary motivation. While I enjoy working on a project on my own, I'm particularly motivated by the buzz of working in a team. It's very rewarding working closely with others who share the same common goal. The biggest motivation getting experience to build my career as a graduate.

Show profile Hide profileMy name is Noxolo Simelane, I have obtained a qualification in Bachelor of Arts in Public Management and Governance at the University of Johannesburg. I majored in the following modules: Public Management & Governance, Public and Local leadership & local Governance as well as Politics. As part of my University based training and leadership portfolios, I have led as a House Committee in two different residences, SRC( Students Representative Council) Gender Office and was part of the branding process of the respective female residence.I have served as a Sports Health & Wellness officer of YWCA female residence and 2as a Treasurer of the newly established Female Residence Ulwazi within the University of Johannesburg. That has made me understand people and enabled me to communicate better. Time management and task fulfilment is a great commitment to me as it enables one to excel in their given task. In these leadership portfolios, I had the privilege to dynamically shape Student Accommodation & Residence Life policies and programs. Also included in my leadership I have served as the Chairperson of UJ LGBTI society/club, which is something I have pioneered. Pre-facing all my leadership portfolios, I have left an innovative mark through establishing programs with a focus of development and acceleration of one's skills. I am solution orientated in most cases when encountered with problems. Researcher before accepting a task, I request a briefing, research it and do a feasibility study. I have worked with people in various institution with different personalities and emotions. I believe I can have a meaningful impact within the working environment as well as gain valuable knowledge and experience, which will propel my career forward. I am perceiving any job opportunity as a stepping stone towards shaping and cultivating my career, thus this will cause a great impact to me and serving as a civil servant.
