Show profile Hide profileBorn in Johannesburg to South African parents who were both journalists at the time, which has meant broad exposure to many different environments, people and events. Have had much varied experience of the world, including extensive travels abroad to Europe, the USA, Canada, Israel, and several African countries, providing invaluable insights. It has also been a formative influence on my life and development as a self-sufficient, hard-working and passionate person. This, combined with my studies, after having moved to Cape Town to attend UCT, has created a keen interest in many diverse areas such as social justice, gender issues, politics, art and fashion. An unusually unprotected exposure by my parents to many key events of my generation has also put me in an ideal position to contribute in a number of key areas and ways.
