Dineo Seopela
I'm a very determined, self-motivated individual with the goal of becoming a prominent HR professional in the future. I believe that I'll one day become a good leader and a role model to others. I have the ability to learn quickly and work well with others and Im able to work under pressure.
Show profile Hide profileI have recently completed studying my B-TECH degree in Human Resource Management at Vaal University of Technology. And I am currently looking to furthering my studies in HRM M-Tech degree.
I've achieved distinctions in most of my subjects and ensured that I maintain excellent results since the beginning of my course. I work hard and I am determined. Furthermore, I have achieved a recognition award second place in the South African Board for People Practices (SABPP) HR excellence Award for 2016, a national competition held amongst top HRM students from all universities in the country. This competition was based on academic performance, leadership, community involvement, presentation and interview skills, and I believe that this is an indication of my dedication towards my work and I strive to achieve the best at all times.
I have previously been trained as a Junior Foreman and throughout the experience I have learned that I developed leadership skills, administrative skills, listening skills, computer literacy skills as well as the ability to work with other people. My responsibilities in this role included delegation of activities; controlling of materials and equipment; daily reporting on work progress; submit works ready for engineer's approval; overseeing the execution of the work, including quality and production; preparation of daily production records; and ensuring the safety of team members.
The world of Human Resource Management has become one of the most important strategic functions in any work place. Technology has also had an influence in this field and would therefore like to be part of this change and to make a difference.
My goal is to become a prominent HR professional, starting with an internship, and then developing into the role of a professional HR practitioner in the next 2 years. I believe that this opportunity in your organisation will expose me to valuable experience, that it will enable me to contribute to the company's growth objectives. I'm capable of learning and practising, and therefore, the opportunity to learn in your organisation will be highly appreciated.
Thank you for taking your time to read my letter. I attach my updated CV for your attention.
