Show profile Hide profileI am currently looking to get into a role where I am involved within the people-side of a business as it is an area I really enjoyed while studying and in the various roles that I have worked in.
I have worked in fantastic companies and have gained a wide-range of knowledge across a variety of industries which I feel has been great in my development, I now want to move into a specific company where I can build on these areas.
At Accenture I was in the Talent and Organisation division where I worked on three projects undergoing change within certain parts of their business (JD Group, Exxaro and Sasol). With regards JD Group I was involved with organising the training side of a huge project that they were undergoing. The other projects I worked on at Sasol and Exxaro I worked in areas such as project planning, candidate sourcing, change readiness, assessments etc.
At Robert Walters and Resource Solutions I worked within recruitment. I was responsible for interviewing, assessing and building relationships with candidates and clients. It enabled me to build on my relationship skills across a variety of areas – communicating with candidates, clients and internal colleagues both within South Africa and the United Kingdom.
With the personal projects that I have worked on, I have exposed myself independently to a variety of people doing different aspects of work for them (performing subject choice assessments and working on an employee dashboard for Vivienne Gordon-Turner & Associates).
An ideal role for me is within a company where skills development and relationship building among colleagues is important. I want to build on my current skills within a company which thrives on this. Roles including the likes of talent management, organisational development, change management, employee wellness, internal recruitment (in-house and not in an external recruitment company) etc.
