Chardene Bakker
I have experience in Sales and Administration. I'm currently completing my BComm degree in Industrial and Organisational Psychology. I've been developing my Leadership qualities for quite some time and feel that I will do well in management positions. My ideal job will be within a Human Resources position, although I am willing to start at any level, for instance as a Receptionist.

Show profile Hide profileI am Chardene Bakker, raised Afrikaans by my father, and schooled in English by my more "internationally conscious" mother. I received my Matric certificate at Entheos Christian School nine months before my peers and spent the rest of the year working at De Kleine Lighuis Nursery School. From there I proceeded to study at Stellenbosch University for two and a half years after school. The path destined for me has lead me to complete my studies part-time through UNISA, whilst gaining exceptional experience in the work force. My wish is to work for a dynamic trend-setting company in Cape Town, as Cape Town is where my heart and ties lie. When I have achieved my goal of doing my Master's degree in Industrial Psychology through Stellenbosch University, I wish to register as an Industrial Psychologist.
I believe that I will be ideal for this work opportunity based on my experience and character as a person. From an early age, I undertook to set goals for myself, and goals are mostly achieved through believing in oneself, determination and hard work. Working towards my purpose, I have been taught flexibility with situations out of my control. I did not let it stop me however, because I strive to take initiative in situations where improvement is possible, and this in turn feeds my need for success. My leadership positions at school, university and everyday life has enabled me to take responsibility wherever I can, as I believe this promotes growth in individuals. These are crucial skills I wish to transfer to my peers, and through my ambition and positive attitude I believe I can conquer any situation I find myself in.
I trust that it is evident my passions lie within an interpersonal environment. Whether it be coaching, leading or helping out, my pride and joy will be seeing my hard work pay off in the lives of those I wish to serve. Therefore I wish to be considered for the position, to not only satisfy my life ambitions, but to see the lives of others fulfilled through a combined effort. I look forward to hearing from you.
