Dr. Rodney Mogamberi Kuppen appointed as new CEO of the new 4 Chakras Group

Dr Kuppen is a Nuclear/Laser Physicist by training and has spent the last 13 years in the professional services arena - consulting to the Public sector at large. He is a seasoned Corporate Strategist and Programme Manager. He has consulted extensively to a number of government departments and parastatals as well as to private companies.
Dr Kuppen started his professional career as a senior programme manager at the Atomic Energy Corporation on the Uranium Enrichment Programme. He led a programme to develop new technologies - that proved to be a world leader in Infra-red generation.
Dr Kuppen then spent 6 years as a Strategy Consultant at Deloitte Consulting specialising in Electricity Industry restructuring. During this time, he led projects at Eskom and government relating to the restructuring of the industry. He has also worked on international assignments in the field.
Following Deloitte, Dr Kuppen started an investment company with a view to purchase 30% of Eskom Generation. He gained significant insight and experience in power generation deal structuring, consortium constitution, capital raising and marketing and lobbying at all levels of government. In addition, the initiative has allowed him to establish some key relationships with individuals and organisations in the field both locally and globally.
Following this, he started his own professional services company (4 Chakras) focussing on the Electricity Industry. During this time, he has led and managed projects at Eskom, government and the municipalities in the Distribution, Transmission and Generation arena. Dr Kuppen is currently CEO of 4 CHAKRAS Group which is a culmination of his own consulting and professional services company with that of companies run by his fellow directors - giving the organisation a broader offering, skills base and market reach. Dr Kuppen brings to the organisation a significant skills set, industry insight, management skill and relationship base.
