Given Mkhari joins Metro FM

After much industry speculation, Metro FM has announced that radio heavyweight, Given Mkhari, will join the station from 01 May.

Mkhari will present Metro FM's talkshow programme from Monday to Thursday between 19h00 and 21h00. A former talkshow host at Kaya FM, he is a highly talented, engaging and respected radio personality with extensive international experience.

Metro FM station manager, Lesley Ntloko, says; "Given Mkhari will be an asset to our stable and will add to the wealth of talent at the station. We are confident he will attract more listeners and promises a riveting, interactive and entertaining show."

Sassy radio presenter, Penny Lebyane, will now present the station's popular National Top 20 programme on Friday from 19h00 to 22h00. A trendsetter in the local entertainment world, Lebyane has also been allocated the 06h00 to 10h00 music slot on Saturdays - which also focuses on entertainment news.
