Zuko Mdwaba is the new SAS GM

Zuko Mdwaba will be taking over in the role of SAS GM as Desan Naidoo has been promoted to VP for the Africa region. After joining SAS as the GM of the commercial business unit in 2016, Mdwaba contributed to the company's increase in sales targets by more than 30% and was inducted into the President's Club.

Mdwaba obtained his computer science and statistics degree at the University of the Western Cape and completed the executive development programme with the University of Cape Town and also holds several qualifications in project management, telecommunications, database architecture, and data modelling. Mdwaba started his career as a network management specialist at Telkom and has since worked at Schlumberger, Atos, and Escher Group, as well as Oracle.
