Desan Naidoo to lead SAS in African regions

Analytics software and services company, SAS appointed its MD for southern Africa, Desan Naidoo as the company's VP for Africa. In his new role, Naidoo will be overlooking business development and growth in four regions, namely South African and Nigeria, east Africa and SADC countries (excluding SA) and French-speaking Africa.

Naidoo's career at SAS started in 2008 when he was appointed as the GM, public sector and has since held a number of positions including operations director, director of sales operations and customer advocacy, MEA. In April of 2013, Naidoo was named MD for southern Africa and most recently her served as the regional director for sub-Saharan Africa.
