Claudia Mpeta appointed Corporate Communications Manager for Shell Southern Africa.

Claudia has held the position of Communications Advisor with the company since September 2002 and will in her new role be responsible for the company's internal and external communication strategy.

Having previously worked as an Account Director with Text 100 Public Relations, Claudia has experience as both a broadcast and print journalist. She spent time with Independent Newspapers from 1999 to 2001 and the SABC in various positions from 1992 to 1995. Work with the National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) and the Gauteng Legislature completes the network of experience she brings to the position.
