Sound designer, Julian Hester has recently joined Film Production Company - Terraplane.
After graduating from Cape Audio College in Cape Town, living in London and later the Middle East, Julian returned to South Africa to work as a freelance sound designer in the multimedia industry. Seeking change and a fresh angle, he relocated to Johannesburg to pursue his career in Film and Television, and it wasn't long before he had a list of work under his belt for amongst others: YDE, Playtex Wonderbra, VR Brandy, Metro FM and more recently- Sony for TBWA Singapore. Hester designed and built Terraplane's new sound studio, which supports voice recording and mixing of guide tracks and composition of original music. With his technical skill, precision and unconventionality he is sure to prove as an invaluable addition to the hive of fresh young talent that Terraplane breeds.
