Tsotsi cracks the Academy Awards

South African drama Tsotsi has been nominated for an Academy Award. This is the culmination of an exceptional run for the film, which has already bagged a total of nine international awards and has received a Golden Globe nomination and two BAFTA nominations. Tsotsi, which was up against 57 other foreign language films vying for nomination, is now in line for the ultimate Hollywood accolade, the Oscar.
