Eco-friendly 2-sided printing

Océ South Africa has introduced a new line of printing technology to the local market with its Océ VarioPrint 6000 range, which uses one engine to drive two imaging belts simultaneously to print two-sided jobs faster and more reliably, as each sheet only passes through the engine once. This minimises its eco-footprint in all aspects of performance - ranging from toner transfer and imaging technology, to emissions, paper usage and energy consumption. It consumes an estimated 45% less energy than conventional dual-pass systems and up to 35% less than minimum Energy Star requirements. The range can handle everything from high-volume manuals, technical documents, books and personalised and trans-promo communications.
