Dimension Data's Brett Dawson steps down

After 12 years at the helm of Dimension Data, Brett Dawson has decided to hand over the leadership responsibility as group CEO to longstanding COO Jason Goodall. During Brett's tenure the company evolved into a global IT services giant, servicing 72% of the Fortune 100, and over 60% of the Fortune 500 companies.

Dimension Data quadrupled in size, from a $2bn competitor to an $8bn contender, expanded its footprint from 30 countries to 58, and grew its local and international employee compliment from 8,000 to more than 30,000 passionate and dedicated staff. Over 80% of group revenue now emanates from outside of Africa with the strongest markets in USA, Europe and Asia.
