Rivalry for Climate Change conference grows
Durban and Cape Town are locked in rivalry to host the 17th Conference of Parties (COP 17) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change from November 28 to December 9 2011. The conference is expected to attract 35 000 delegates to the winning destination and conservatively contribute R525 million to the local economy.
