The Big Issue celebrates 10 years

The Big Issue celebrated over 10 years in production with a celebratory bash at The Old Winer Cellar at Spier on Friday, 22 June 2007. The event also marked the re-launch of the publication, which has undergone a complete makeover. Since its launch in 1996, The Big Issue has created employment for over 9000 people and put more than R13 million into the hands of the homeless and unemployed.
