Red Bull Mobile was launched in South Africa in 2011 in partnership with Cell C and was relaunched in 2013 following lacklustre performance, with just 120,000 customers at the time, reports TechCentral.
The R49 Red Bull Mobile starter pack on Cell C is the last of the Red Bull Mobile branded deals being sold by Cell C, adds MyBroadband.
All is not lost though, as any South African mobile subscriber on any network can still register on the Red Bull Mobile mobisite m.redbullmobile.co.za to enjoy benefits from the World of Red Bull, such as free downloads and weather information.
