Local productions accoladed in Milan

SABC drama series Yizo Yizo 2 has won 2nd prize in the short film category at the Festival Cinema Africano in Milan, Italy. The judges took two eipisodes and judged them as short films. Durban-based Vuleka Productions' short film The Sky in Her Eyes, the story of an AIDS orphan, won a special mention in the short film category, while Film Afrika's Promised Land won a special mention in the feature film category.
