General Mills SA receives Halaal certification

General Mills, the world's sixth-largest food company, has announced that three of its major retail brands in South Africa - Pillsbury, Häagen-Dazs, and Nature Valley Granola Bars - are Halaal certified. The certification and monitoring process is overseen by the Muslim Judicial Council (MJC) Halaal Trust of South Africa.
