YFM dismisses Camagwini Mavovana following 'racist' remarks
YFM has dismissed senior content producer Camagwini Mavovana after she remarked on the Nicholas Ninow child rape case on social media. Mavovana had posted a comment on Twitter - which was reported as racially insensitive.
"Nicholas is representing his race well. Amnesia is something they're good at, especially when they have to take accountability. Let the dog rot in jail and call it a day," she tweeted.
In a statement released by the station's MD, YFM said that it will not tolerate any form of racism from anyone. The station has also condemned Mavovana's statement and distanced itself from it.
