Bonang Matheba's Public Figure to make SA premiere at Encounters Fest

Media personality Bonang Matheba's film Public Figure will make its South African premiere at the 2019 Encounters South African International Documentary Festival, which is taking place in Johannesburg and Cape Town from 6 to 16 June 2019. Screenings will be held at the V&A Nouveau in Cape Town on 16 June, following the Johannesburg screenings at the Rosebank Nouveau on 15 June.

Apart from Matheba, Public Figure features actress Rose McGowan and internet provocateur Sebastian Tribbie with an appearance by Denzel Washington. Public Figure's director and executive producer, Brian Corso, will also discuss the film with Matheba at a post-screening Q&A.
