CCFA sponsors attendees, prize at 2019 Conservation Lab

Ten community leaders from five African countries will attend the Conservation Lab as a result of the Community Conservation Fund Africa's (CCFA) sponsorship. Additionally, the CCFA is awarding the winning project USD $25,000.

This prize recognises the effort of a local organisation that tackles issues like animal poaching, diminishing water supplies, wildlife conservation as well as the wellbeing of people and their communities. Conservation Lab is an invitation-only event held annually in South Africa, which brings together 150 leaders - from key sections of conservation, travel, technology, behavioural sciences, philanthropy and government - to encourage creative thinking and collaborative partnerships.

This year's event will be held in Stellenbosch from 10 to 12 May 2019.
