Ndalo Media challenge company's liquidation at CCMA
Former Ndalo Media employees are challenging owner Khanyi Dhlomo's decision to liquidate the company. The 60 employees are presenting their case before the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA).
This follows retrenchments at the company when Dhlomo shut down the magazine publisher. She reportedly decided against the retrenchment process and proceeded to liquidate the company, which means employees will receive whatever is left after investors are paid.
Ndalo Media housed prominent magazines like Destiny, Destiny Man and Elle.
